After years in medical sales, I am finally pursuing my passion of teaching.  I am certified in Middle School English Language Arts and Special Education K-12.  I am from St. Louis and am married with a 7 month baby and a 6 year old German Shepherd.  

 My goal is to create a learning environment that keeps students engaged.  I want to shape students to become people who ask deep questions, know how to learn, and become life-long learners.  My classroom will be student centered and student directed.   Lesson plans will be dynamic,  based on the needs and interests of my students, so as to make lessons meaningful.  I will show my students how to learn and provide access to technology within the classroom.
